FAQs – Move to Chatham Healthy Living Centre

1. When is the move to the new Healthy Living Centre happening?
We will be relocating in January 2026.

2. Where is the new Healthy Living Centre located?
The Chatham Healthy Living Centre is just a 5-minute walk from our current location. It will be located on the 1st floor of the Pentagon Centre.  There are lifts and escalators within the Pentagon Centre, so the surgery will be fully accessible.

3. Will there be changes to parking?
Yes, parking at the new centre will be chargeable.

4. What new facilities will be available at the Healthy Living Centre?
The centre includes more facilities, such as Medway Community Healthcare services, all in one convenient location.

Within the Healthy Living Centre there will also be services provided by Medway Community Healthcare such as phlebotomy, children’s health services, respiratory services and wound clinic.

5. Will we be merging with the other practice in the building?
No, we will be sharing the building with Maritime Health but will remain an independent practice.

6. Are there any changes to opening hours or staff?
There are no planned changes to opening hours, and all current staff will remain the same.

7. Will my appointments be affected by the move?
All existing appointments will continue as usual with no disruption. Nearer the time of the move, we will make sure to share the date of the move on our website and we will also remind you of the location when you book your appointment.
